Default Can a locked Blackberry 8310 be restored....

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased this phone legally from AT&T for one of my sons. After about 5 months he brings it to me 'with a problem'. Turns out, it has an "SOS" above the strength bar, plus, when I go through the connections menu, it now indicates its is set to TMobile! I called AT&T and was informed that it had only a 3 month warranty. Called Tech support, they walked me through a 'reset', but it did not take. Someone suggested that I go by AT&T and ask for a 'virgin' sim card andf then do a reset - haven't tried this yet.

The phone looks and performs like it is brand new. Read out says 'emergency calls' only. Any suggestions?

Do you have another SIM card to throw in there and test it with? SOmetimes those SIM cards go bad and all you have to do is replace them...no reset needed.
