You cannot. It is a limitation imposed by your carrier.

But know your audience... if you send an MMS to an iPhone user they will not receive it.

oh well . . . then maybe Apple should be the one doing the work to make the iPhone at par with most modern cellphones and smartphones. . .

It's a well-publicized limitation of the iPhone - caveat emptor and all that stuff...

Wirelessly posted

Just use emails. Then you can email the iphone or email to mms a regular phone. And you don't have to pay for the unlimited messaging. This is if you have the data plan. A lot of people don't know about this option. All you have to do is find the @vrz.pix or what ever they are. Even the att sales rep at the store didn't know. After talking to her about it I even got a date lol to dumb for me though about other stuff.

Not everyone can receive MMS on their phones, however.

That's a given, but why is it that anytime anyone mentions the word iPhone, the thread veers off course and all the haters come out?

SMSs are free if you have the unlimited text messaging add-on on top of your regular plan...

... which doesn't make them free, as this add-on is a chargeable feature. They may end up as pennies per message if you send thousands however...

there are different plans where you pay less than the normal cost like one sms cost re1 but after taking that sms plan it cost 1paisa, which is nothing compared to the amount of sms i do.
