Exclamation Problem with calender!

Please Login to Remove!

My friend got a curve recently and told him he should upgrade to v4.5 to get a video camera (among other things). He did and everything went smoothly. About a week after he said his calender wasn't working right. So I told him to do the battery pull to reset it, but it didn't work. His problem seems to be this (he has a Today theme btw):
  • When he navigates to his calender, he can open it up, add an event, etc. But when he decides to save it, the phone freezes for about 5 minutes. No button will do anything. While I was looking at it when it was frozen, I held the standby button and turned it off. Nothing happened. Then all of a sudden 5 minutes later, the standby screen popped up and the phone shut off.
  • Let's say he as 4 events listed in the current week: A, B, C, and D (in that order). There are three slots for the events to show up on the theme he is using. However, istead of showing A, B, and C on the homescreen, it shows A and D only.

Anyone know how to help him?

Sounds like he's low on memory, but if only the calendar is having problems, try downloading the OS file over again and re-installing it.

Maybe try re-sending the service books before that.

I just asked him and he doesn't have any email accounts set up on his phone (we're still in high school so we also aren't affiliated with any business' yet). But it sounds like I'll tell him to re-install the O.S. Thanks all!
