Default Question about email and Vz

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed when sending emails from my BB that it puts a tag line at the end "Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry". Can this be edited out somehow or at least moved down a bit so it doesn't seem to be part of the conversaton? I fugure it's Vz's doing but I really don't like it.

You can remove that or change it to say whatever you want. The Signature can be editing for any email account you have set up on your phone.

Go to "Setup" and then "Email Settings". Select the email account that you want to edit and you'll see the field that has that default statement "message sent from my verizon ......". If you don't want it delete the default text and leave that field blank.

If you have multiple email accounts set up on your phone you'll need to edit the settings for each account.

LaurenR,

you can do this on a corporate outlook account. My wifey had to get with her TM people at her job and they worked it out for her. She has her Curve synced with a web-based outlook account. They told her how to do it on her own on her work computer but she is techno-challenged.

If you are in a rush, try do a search through the help options in your Outlook account from your work computer.

Thanks rhn1975, that was sweet; worked great. I shouldve guessed there was some way to edit that on the phone, you can do everything else (lol).

You can edit your corporate email and any other email account tag right on your BB,
Open your corp email box>BB button>Options>email settings> choose your desktop, gmail or whatever you have and change the tag and save
