Default import baseball schedule

Please Login to Remove!

I have a downloaded 2009 season schedule of my favourite baseball team.

It is a excel document. I also have a file with a .ics extension but I'm not sure what that is.

I know it's a longshot but is there anyway to import this into my Blackberry calendar?

just download Viigo and under the sports section you can download any sport, followed by team stats, schedule, and so on

You also have the option adding your team's baseball schedule to a Google Calendar, then using GoogleSync to get it on your BB calendar. This is what I do.

Export the schedule as a CSV file and then import it into Outlook and sync with your 'berry.

I just went through this exercise myself. I had the best luck importing directly to the BB using Desktop Manager. In the synchronization settings, just choose "ASCII Importer/Exporter" --> "One way sync TO Device". On the next screen you specify your file (.csv worked well for me). Once that's setup, in the "Advanced" settings you can map your fields.

What I found to be "more accurate" was to go through the above steps initially, but peforming a "One way sync FROM Device" so that I could see exactly what the file should look like (rather than messing with field mapping). I then took the .csv I downloaded from mlb.com and moved things around to make the file look like the exported calendar from my BB. Then, ran through the above steps to get the games onto my BB.

Once the games are on the BB, you can use Desktop Manager to sync to your other PIM.

If you have questions, PM me. Also, if the team in question is the Cubs, I already have a BB friendly file

I put together an instruction sheet, however, I can't seem to upload the .csv file. If you send me a PM with your email address, I will send you the .csv file.

Default Instructions and Cubs File

If you're not a Cubs fan, you can use the included .csv file as a template for what your favorite team's schedule should look like.
