I have an 8330 at version 4.5. When I play an auido file from the media card I get a loud click at the beginning and end of the file. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? I'd be willing to purchase another mp3 player app especially if it had a better zoom control over the content. I'm kind of new to this, is it even possible to add a separate app to these devices?

Yes it is possible to add separate apps to these devices and there are a few mp3 player apps out there, but have no personal experience with them.

In my experience the loud clicks at the beginning is usually due to how the mp3 file was recorded or made. I have several mp3 files that are like that and it's simply a bad copy.

Thanks, I agree the file is corrupt but they are webcast downloads I don't want to have to fix manually so finding a mp3 player that handles this cleanly is worth the money. I know the're out there, my old rca lyra can play the same files without issue. If anyone can recommend one player over another I'd appreciate it.
