I have the blackberry curve 8330 and I swore that my keyboard light would go on when I first started to type in dim lighting. What my issue is that my keyboard only lights up when it's perfectly dark, and so in poorest lit areas I have to struggle to see the letters and numbers on the keyboard. I took it back to Verizon to see what they would say, and if anyone has Verizon you know the answer I got, which was a scratch on the head. If anyone with an 8330 can tell how theirs is working that would be a big help. Thank you.

I am about to answer my own question, why? because I am stupid. I had my backlight timed out at 2 minutes. I just set it for 10 seconds, and it works like a charm. Thank you me.
