Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Los Angeles and a user of the 8120 Pearl. I came here to figure out the freezing problem i'm having synching my Contacts/Calender with Desktop Manager v4.7 via bluetooth. However, after searching there's a gazillion posts related to the issue. Should be fun searching thru all of those Wish me luck...

Welcome.

Try a sync using the USB cable. How does that work? What OS are you running on your Pearl?

I'll try using the USB cable next time, just blue tooth is much more convenient... I'm using OS OS: 4.5.0.124
which is in my profile, unless its not showing to the public...

I tried synching with the USB cable and Desktop Manager didn't crash! Thanks!

I also noticed if i do sync via bluetooth, Desktop Manager won't freeze as long as i have no other applications running in the background. If i have other apps running, the Desktop Manager will freeze.
