Default Anyone have the number for Blackberry in the UK??

Please Login to Remove!

Got a Blackberry 3 days ago so far I've had the following faults...

It doesn't sync with my laptop.
Google mail doesn't work.
Google Sync doesn't work.
Google Maps doesn't work.
Opera mini doesn't work.

So if anyone has the number for the helpdesk in the UK I'd appreciate it as they don't state it on the main site.

Why don't you take it back to the retailer where you purchased it from?

BlackBerry doesn't really provide customer service because that's the job of the retailers like your cell phone provider. They should be your first stop.

Doesn't work? What happens? Error messages? Do you have a data plan of any sort? Do you have the proper APN settings?

You would have better luck finding answers here than calling your carrier.

Hi Js,

Thanks for replying. Well Google Maps has now started to work however with Google mail I get an error saying "THIS PROGRAMME REQUIRES A WORKING DATA CONNECTION. PLEASE CHECK YOU SIGNAL STRENGTH AND CONNECTION SETTINGS AND THEN RESTART THE APPLICATION"

With Google Sync I try and log in and the error says "LOGIN FAILED DUE TO NETWORK PROBLEMS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SETTINGS"

With Opera Mini the error says "FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET"

I'm guessing it's something up with my settings lol

Yup -- you need to contact your carrier unless you want to pay for support from RIM (RIM is the company, Blackberry is the product).

Ohhh and yes I have a data plan and my touch email works perfectly, it's just the sync, gmail and opera that aren't working.

It sucks that it doesn't sync with my laptop but I can live with that.........I can't live without the gmail and sync function.

Options > Advanced Options > TCP

I believe. I don't have this option on my device being CDMA.
