I updated my google maps to V 3.0.2. It includes the latitude, which auto comes on when the google maps is started. I would like to turn it off and not EVER share. Any one know how?

In Google Maps, press Menu, select Latitude, select Privacy, select Log out of Latitude, press Menu, select Exit.
