Hello!

I have just pruchased the Bold and mightily please I am so far. I have been trying to work out how to get calendar items and tasks to show on the home page. It would be really useful to see the next few appointments and tasks right on the home screen so I don't have to check the calander seperately all the time.

Is there any way to do this? I've searched and I've only come up with vague suggestions about changhing the theme. Can anyone be specific?

I think you have to download a new theme in order to do that. You can do a search on there for them. There might be a thread that talking about "Your Home Page" that might help you

The only way to have them show on the home screen is by using a "Today" or "Today Plus" theme.
These do not come with the Bold by default, so you need to find one you like and download (if free) or pay for, to have what you are looking for.

I'm using the free today themes at m.onthearm.com. However, it only shows calendar and messages. You'll have to look in this forum in the media section or crackberry, howardforums, etc.

There are various versions of "Today Plus" themes that will show previews of messages, calendar, SMS, and/or call log. Nothing is available to show tasks. I would like that one as well.

If you want to get really creative and can figure out how to use it, you can download the Plazmic application and create your own custom theme =) It's so much fun to tinker with that and very rewarding when you've finally created something that suits you perfectly =D
