Just bought a new Javelin and I love it, but i can't download App World. I get the error message that my device doesn't support app world. I've downloaded all updates. I Googled the problem and found a suggestion to reinstall the battery, but that didn't work. Any suggestions? Sorry if there's a solution buried somewhere in this forum-couldn't find it.
Guess I haven't learned as much as I thought (this is my first Blackberry & I've only had it 5 days). Not sure what 1.028 is & my research wasn't enlightening.

Checked your link. As far as I know, I don't have any version of APP World installed. except for Facebook, I haven't installed anything except for updates

This has happened to lots of people. AppWorld isn't ready for primetime unfortunately. They'll fix it, be patient. Some people have downloaded it, some get the same message you get. Nobody has figured out why for sure. They'll tell you to update the OS, use different browser, bla bla, but none of these things has proven to work consistently. Some just keep trying the same way and it downloads. EDIT: Your carrier (CGI?) could be the problem too.

Thanks to you all. I'm in Anchorage AK. GCI is an Alaska carrier. I'd wondered if it was the carrier; however haven't had any problems downloading any thing else. I'll keep trying. Maybe I'll get lucky. Will keep checking here for any further advice.
You guys were right. Downloaded App World successfully shortly after my last post. Guess perseverance was all that was required. Did nothing differently. Thanks for the help

I have the same probem was wonderin if any1 knows wot 2 do My carrier is o2(uk) if that helps........
