Default New (BETA) OS 5.0 troubles

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

Just want to check if there is anyone here which have upgraded their handsets to the new OS 5.0?

As for me, I am facing a small issue after the upgrade, especially on outgoing and incoming calls, where the other part barely hear me or can hear me but quite bad, i guess probably because of all noise "roars"...

Should a alpha, or beta firmware be so unstable and affect the phone in such way?

Regards.

My answer to your question is - until it is released by your carrier, you are taking a serious chance in using the software.

5.0 for the 8900 is a very early beta. I did not experience the same call quality issues but I very quickly switched back to 4.6.

I had some problems with OS 5.0. I uninstalled it and re-installed v4.6.1.206 from Orange UK on my TMO 8900 which works great!
