Hello,

I woke up this morning and noticed my bold had a white screen with an error message "exception.." or something like that.

I normally just do a battery pull and it solves the problem. Not this time. It now just shows the hour glass.

Any other suggestions?

Update: it is now on..I guess just a reboot or something. Now it shows an error message..."Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException"

My OS is 4.6.0.190 (platform 4.0.0.172)

If a battery pull won't work, you most likely need to reload the OS. I hope you have a backup to use once you reload.

Probably should wipe using Jl_cmdr and then reload the OS. A sticky at the top of the 9000 section has the latest OS and instructions.

Be patient, it takes a while to do, could take an hour or longer.

It is actually working now. I'm not sure what the exception error means.

I may however take your advice and upgrade my OS.
