I just replaced the LCD screen on my pearl after about a year of it being cracked and me not using it. I took it all apart, ordered the new LCD, replaced it and now that i have it put back together, it wont turn on. I put the battery in and the red light comes on for 3 seconds or so then turns off. The screen doesn't lite up and neither does the track ball or the key pad. When I have the battery out and I plug it into the charger, same thing. I've had it on the charger for about 4 hours. At first it started blinking red for about 3 seconds, then off for about 3 seconds and it kept doing that. Then It would quickly blink green. Then it stopped blinking. Anyone know what's going on?

I'd try another battery.

Yah that's what I was thinking it was. Just wanted input. Didn't want to start spending money on something i don't need (if it wasn't the battery)

Do you have friends with blackberrys? Maybe you can borrow a battery for 2 minutes?
