Is there a way to disable the sleeper function on my 8330 Curve when I put it in a holster in my car? I just got my 1st Blackberry about 2 weeks ago and there is much to learn yet.

Don't use a BlackBerry case, that is what enables the sleeper fuction.

What options are there? I have a bracket in my car that a belt clip fits perfectly. I just need a belt clip on the back of the 8330 and I have a car power cord for the phone so having the phone on all the time should not be a problem.

You basically need to find a cheap knock off holster with no sleeper function.

The bb cases have a magnet in the that the phone sensor picks up remove magnet or get a case that doesn't have one. Found this out by accident when my kid put hematite magnets next to my storm
