Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Can anyone share wifi experience with BB curve 8320? It gets fluctuate with my device. I dont know the reason behind that but is there a way to make it reliable? It gets disconnected while surfing.
My laptop and curve8320 both are connected to same 2WIRE AT&T router. Laptop continuously remain connected but not Curve8320.

Thanks,

It depends on several factors. Are you roaming around when you are using the wifi on your BB? I would imagine the laptop is in a more stationary position whereever you. So distance as well as interference from other devices/routers in your area may affect wifi connection.

BTW you might want to change the model on your profile to reflect the correct device.

I tried by keeping BB stationary but same behavior. Does your wifi work good?

My wifi works fine -- haven't had problems with it. Just to make sure, when you say it gets disconnected while surfing, do you mean that the signal drops or the page doesn't load up in BB browser?

Do a search for 2wire on the forums and see what comes up. I think a fair amount of folks have had problems with those. When I had DSL and a 2Wire modem even my laptop would lose the signal for minutes at a time.
