I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before and I'm pretty sure I know what the answer is, I'm just double checking.
Using Blackberry Messenger. Does it come off your minutes allowed on Verizon or is it considered data? I believe the answer is it's considered data but would like a confirmation.

Yep. Being on Verizon where you're required to have a data plan, I can see where you might confuse the two. However, other carriers don't require a a data plan. BBM will not work without the BlackBerry data plan.
