Better? Nope. Different? Sure. The feature set seems rather spartan... but it is lightweight, memory footprint wise...

Does not use SMS... I think it's better than Social Scope... Very little memory usage, it's fast, and well..... It works! Plus you can't beat it for free...

Where did you see that? I looked at the terms of use and privacy policy, didn't see that. But I did notice you have to enter your twitter username and password on Handmark's site, which I would not do.

in memory wise how is this different from twitterberry and the new one that is coming out Tweeteev? How is this better in memory and its function compared to the two?

Right now im using twitterberry and i like it, however I am planning on getting tweeteev (not sure though i want to wait to see how everybody else likes it and running smoothly before i do that)

The one huge advantage with this app (I'm awaiting for the release of the others mentioned) is that I can tweet from *multiple* accounts. Previously, I was using two different BB/Tweeter programs for the two accounts that I monitor regularly.

This app lets me monitor more than 1 account at the same time. Sure, it's short on features but for me, this is one HUGE feature that until now, has been overlooked by the other developers.

Tweeteev might be the best of the best once it's release... Ubertwitter is still king for now but this little app has promise... I don't really care about monitoring multiple accounts but I do like the menu functions at the top with the icons as opposed to using the BB menu key.

The only real issue with this is that it will not auto refresh, and there are no notification profiles...

If you want a simple, low memory app then this might be for you...

As for it being short on features.... Depends on what you want I suppose. Some apps are so bloated with features they are difficult to use and are memory hogs. Some apps load up on features that rarely get used and only slow the app down, cause freezes, ect...

Personally, I like a lightweight app that simply gets the job done..

little app? its over a MB big!! it has no keyboard shortcuts, you cannot change any options on it like how often you want it to check for updates, etc etc... the UI is half assed to say the least... this still need alot of more work for it to compete

The memory usage is very small... If you don't like it, don't use it... No need to cuss though...
