Default Can't see GAL in BES Manager Console

Good morning all,

I'm having a problem with the BES Manager Console on a helpdesk tech's machine and hope someone could give a quick solution.

If I can't come up with a quick fix, I'll have to visit the offsite location and uninstall / reinstall the management console.

Problem:

When the tech clicks the "ADD USER" option, the 'SHOW NAMES FROM THE' drop down is empty. It doesn't seem to be pulling names from the GAL.

Other boxes in the helpdesk area are working, and the tech is able to use those boxes. So I'm assuming it's something to do with the box / profile on the computer. I checked 'mapi configuration' and it shows the tech's account. The tech is able to perform other tasks without problem from the console.


Environment:
Exchange 2003
BES 4.1.6
Server appears to be working fine.

If the tech logs accesses another console with the same user account does he / she see the users in his / her Default GAL?

Yeah, if they log into another computer they see the gal. Right now they are remote desktoping into another desktop.

Thanks for the help. It will save me a drive across town.

What was the fix? I'm having a similar issue and can't for the life of get the GAL to populate on my BES server, but don't see any (good) reason why....
