Default RIM BIS SMTP servers

Please Login to Remove!

I posted a thread here about having issues with Microsoft's IMF under Exchange 2003 block RIM's SMTP servers and can't seem to find it now...

Oh well.. So here's what I found after changing IMF to archive the rejected emails.

smtp01.bis.na.blackberry.com 216.9.248.48
to
smtp10.bis.na.blackberry.com 216.9.248.57
and
smtp11.bis.na.blackberry.com 216.9.248.25
to
smtp15.bis.na.blackberry.com 216.9.248.29

Wait the IPs I listed above are on that page you gave me... so how do I figure out their subnet mask?

Crap, I just realized the IPs in that link you gave me aren't for the BIS servers SMTP servers its for the RIM SRP servers.

That list seems to be the same IPs as the previous link you posted has. I don't see the 216.9.248.xxx range in there so I very hesitant to believe the IPs listed are of RIMs SMTP servers which send the BIS email out on.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? I'm confused.

Who cares what RIM's SMTP servers are? Doesn't impact your BES at all.

I am really surprised how stupid some people are. LEARN 2 READ!!

I said I Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server IMF is blocking RIMs SMTP servers, I need am looking for a list of the servers so I can add them to IMF so that it doesn't filter out emails coming in from the BIS network.

You can't use domain names in IMF only IP addresses. (sigh)

IMF = Intelligent Message Filter

It surprises me no one has know what IMF is... LAUGH! (shaking my head)

Ok, figure it out yourself. I gave you an answer (a correct one at that).

Why don't you learn to read these:

How to ask a question

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

They're both appropriate for you and I'll be sure to not to put forward any attempt in answering your questions ... especially when you can easily find the answer through a search which you obviously didn't do.
