Default Outlook Sync Issues

Please Login to Remove!

When I create an appointment in the outlook calender on my laptop and then hook to my BB it sync's great however after the appointment is over and I add notes to the appointment and save it on my laptop it will not sync to my BB. Is this just a setting or should I save it in a different way so that the sync feature picks up that something has been added to the appointment???

Try using DM 4.2.2 I think Outlook 2002/Professional is on the same page as Outlook 2000..

Your not running 2003 or later right?

when I installed Outlook 2007 it asked if I wanted to remove all older versions of Outlook, I clicked yes, and it removed all older versions, installed the new version and automatically transferred everything to the new outlook. Does this answer your question?

So all your existing information was still there when you opened Outlook 2007 right?

Try, Searching your computer for a file called "ScanPST.exe" you will use to scan your .PST files and fix errors.

To find your .pst files, do another search for "*.pst"

make sure Outlook is closed. Once that is done try to sync.

Thank everyone for your help, I have fixed the problem. It was a setting within the desk top manager.

Thanks again

On the desk top manager I went to the sync menu for the apps that you want to sync, then I clicked Outlook and at the bottom of the window I clicked setup. On the third setup window I saw under Calender Date range where it gave an option to "transfer all scheduled items" and that fixed it. The original setting that it was on was "Transfer only future items"

Ok, one of your past calendar events are corrupt, or have an attachment in it.

If you don't need all those past events then your good to go

Well I got excited, thought this thread had the answer to my issue. I just updated to Version 4.5.0.110 on the Blackberry and 4.7 for the Desktop Manager. My appointments are on the Blackberry but are not showing up in my Outlook 2007. I'm using Blackberry Dimension Today and my appointments aren't showing up there either. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Options -> Advanced Options -> Default Services, change the CICAL entry to the one with all your calendar events.

To find the calendar with your events go into the Calendar App and hit the menu key and choose options, click on the other calendars listed.
