Which is the correct sintax?

http://intranet(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

or

http://intranet.*(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

And also

http://intranet(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)? is different from
http://INTRANET(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

Should be:-
.*://.*intranet.net(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

Ok but is there difference between

.*://.*blackberry.com(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

and

.*://.*blackberry.com.*(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)?

Also, is it case sensitive? I cannot find it
