Default BB8900 Getting very hot and battery dying

Please Login to Remove!

My new 8900 is getting very hot and the battery is lasting only a couple of hours. Something is wrong. Could it be something I am doing?

Poor signal increase power usage. Try upgrading your OS as this may improve optimization of battery life.

Do you have any aplications running? Closing them out may help.

running apps isnt going to make it hot, and neither is a low signal. nothing uses more power then actually TALKING on the phone. and i know that i dont have issues with it over heating so obviously something is wrong. just get it replaced

You either have a runaway app, or your WiFi keeps trying to reconnect. Or you have an iPhone.
