First, congratulations on your software release. Your software is very promising.

Second, moving to Software Forum

(One-time announcements are allowed -- as long as they don't conflict with sponsors. Otherwise this seems to have followed forum rules as the owner of this site told me -- one-time announcement, no prices, root URL)

PS.... BlackBerryForums has no instant messenger sponsors. Why don't you contact Tom aka 'Guess' to purchase a banner advertisement from this site?

no response yet. what is gonna happen when we need support. I currently have over 250 users on bes and my company is willing to pay buy a 300 user licence and possible more later. I'm not asking for a free trial just another 15 day with the new version.

Thanks

I have sent 4 or 5 emails to their support line while I was in trail mode and after I purchased the product and always got a response within a few hours. Probably some of the best customer service I have ever had.

Maybe your message just got lost and you should just send them another message?

I agree with nb_mitch, great customer service on their part. I would send them another message, I have always gotten a response within a few hours at most.

Good release - I think that I may like this more than IM+ or VeriChat.. and the price is significantly more attractive :D

Hi all,

I just wanted to give a quick update.

I emailed Softcentral and they were very quick to respond and are giving me another trial with the latest version.

2 Thumbs up to them.

Thanks.

When Yak-On was in beta I could never get MSN Messenger to work for me & others I had spoken with also had the same issue. After unsuccessful attempts with Yak-On I had to move on to a different IM Client. I am curious if MSN Messenger now works properly and if any of you have used it could you please posts your views and/or opinions. Thanks in advance.

I'm having some issues with disconnections, but otherwise MSN seems to be working fairly well.

Edit: Disconnection issues seem to be resolved - Yak On! is working fantastically now

Good to hear MSN is working with Yak-On. I guess I will have it give it another go.

I am not sure if this issue is due to me running the 15 day trial version or not but....

I tried to use the AIM and IM myself at my office (using 2 different screen names), I could see the message from my phone come through on my PC but no messages come through from the PC to the phone. Any ideas as to what is causing this? The interface on this program looks TONS better than Ramble but the delay in messaging is killing me, Ramble is real time. Anyone else having this issue?

I had heard the trial version drained battery power rather quickly. Has anyone experienced this with the paid version or has that improved also?

I think all IM applications have a pretty strong battery drain. Mainly because they're having to send and receive data so frequently, even if you're not physically using IM at the moment.

At least that's what I've notice with IM+, VeriChat and Yak-On.

We are looking at adding Yahoo support, though an exact timetable hasn't been decided on.
