Default Simulator missing 'Check Availability'

our training team are using the latest simulators for their training courses and have complained that the 'check availability' function in the calender is missing. They logged this with blackberry who sent them this reply:
For the "Check Availability" functionality to work on a simulator it
would first have to be associated with an email account (Enterprise
Activated), the following article explains how to do this:
This is already how we have it setup, we have spoken to Vodaphone trainers who say they have the same issue. Is there any way of enabling this feature?
