Default Enterprise activation server address?

Please Login to Remove!

My boss broke his Pearl so he's got himself a 8900 (Curve?).
I'm trying to connect it up to our BES but it's not having it. I suspect it is something to do with T-mobile because it won't web'n'walk either but I've already asked them to reset data servs twice.
My question is:-
One thing I've not seen on any of our other BB devices on "enterprise activation" is the 8900 askes for "activation server address" does anyone know how I go about finding this out please?

Thanks

Rob

You don't need the activation address if you're doing a wireless activation. Just the user's email address and the activation password that you set on the BES.

I'd suspect that the carrier messed up the data plan and it doesn't have the Enterprise data plan.....

Default More weirdness

Thanks "juwaack68" I'm not sure what they've messed up. The sim I'm using is mine I gave my 8700 to my boss when he broke his pearl and it was working fine. The 8900 I'm testing with my sim before I swap over.
It's weird because I can send emails and update calendar from BB which updates my MS Exchange mailbox but I don't receive messages sent to my inbox on the BB. Enterprise activation just keeps retrying until it fails.
I've pulled the battery and sim several times.
I've gone through email settings on BB hide filed is "no".
send email to handheld is "yes"
wireless reconcile is "on"

If I turn Wifi on to connect at work intranet I get emails on my BB

I'm sure it must be something on the BB device thats not right anyone know this device inside out?

Ta

I would check to make sure that the new SIM has the BIS/BES provisioning and all the service books resent to the device.

I would also try to do a wipe of the device prior to activating.
