Default Odd BES Behaviour

Please Login to Remove!

My company runs BES 4.1. Until recently I had a BB 7250 and the issue I had is that email I would SEND would appear in Outlook and OWA and on the BB properly, but I would also see some of these messages on my BB in the inbox as though I received them from myself (I have "show sent messages" turned off). These would reconcile to the BB in groups with all the same received time as though the BES was reconciling them wrong. This only happens with email on my BES email account. I have 2 other BIS emails accounts on the phone that do not have this occur. Sometimes the messages were drafted and sent on my BB, but usually it is email I drafted via EXCHANGE.

It also is not all email I send, it is only some and as I said they show up in chunks with all the same time. When I complained of this to the guy who runs our BES and phones, he said it must be a phone issue. We changed providers (from BELL to ROGERS) and I now have a BB9000 BOLD (what an upgrade!) and the problem persists.

Any suggestions? I have Admin rights on our BES and Echange servers. Right now, there is at least one other person who has noticed this happening on their phone. There may be others, but they have not complained (perhaps not noticed?).

Any suggestions would be appreciated because these emails I send that show up as received in my inbox on my phone just clutter up everything...

If this is not clear, let me know. I am trying to explain this as best I can.

It helps if you post in the appropriate section of the forum.

Moving to BES Admin Corner.
