Please can anyone help me?

I have stupidly managed to delete bbm from my Curve 8310.

Can someone help me to reinstall it, I have no idea where to start.

Download the software for your device in the 8300 section. Load it on your PC and run the app-loader to install BBM back on your BB. All the instructions are with the software version you need.

I've downloaded a newer version of desktop manager but I don't know what to do now. When I open application loader there no bbm showing in there.

I'm so gutted, how the hell did I manage to wipe it off. I'm so mad and upset at myself !

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

You need to download the OS, operating software or the BB, not the Desktop Manager.

ok, I've downloaded os version 4.5.

Messenger isn't showing in the app loader in desktop manager and when I try and download it it tells me I need version 4.0 or 4.1.

Have I downloaded the wrong version?

After you downloaded version 4.5 to your PC, did you then double click on the file to install 4.5 onto your PC?

You need to do that and then when you connect your BB to your PC and start Desktop Manager (you may also have to click on the Application Loader icon after starting DM), you should be able to install BBM that way.

You cannot download it over the air to your device. The OS is not old enough.
