When I go to bed at night, I'd like my BB to not sound any alerts unless it's a call from a few select phone numbers or a calendar alarm.

No email alerts or phone ringer unless it's a call from these few numbers.

Is that possible?

That's what I currently use. But that let's ANY call ring. I only want specific numbers to ring.

I have family members who know my sleeping habits and if they are calling when I'm sleeping then it's an emergency and I need to take the call. Even if it takes a third party app to do it, I would really like to do this.

You can create a custom profile where when only select contacts call, your phone rings.
Go to profile > advanced > menu > create new exception. Then add the names and choose the ringtones. Then when you go to bed select the quiet profile and check the exception you made. When you want everything back to normal, uncheck the exception and select the profile you want to use. That way everything will be quiet except those you put in the exception.

Thanks. That sounds close to what I was looking to do. But I'm having trouble finding this Exceptions setting on my Tour 9630.

On the Tour, the exception is applied to the individual contact record.
