Just got a BB Bold off someone from Craigslist. I am trying to add a software that I used on my old Pearl (Money Manager) from a Blackberry Freeware.

When I try to loan it, my BB Manager, Application Manager tells me "No additional applications designed for your device were found." Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to upgrade the BB Manager? is this freeware not compatible with the Bold?

Any help is appreciated!

There are two pieces of software - Desktop Manager AND the Handheld Operating System for the Bold. You need to download and install that to your PC before Desktop Manager will let you add software to the Bold.

The latest version of the Bold OS is shown in a sticky thread at the top of the General 9000 Series Discussion.

Keep in mind that some applications are device specific. What was designed to work with a Pearl most likely won't run properly on the Bold.

Check with the developer and get the version for your device. You willmost likely have to have a new activation code as well. Since you didn't name the app, we can't tell you.

The software is called Money Manager. It is freeware I found online...
