hey whats up? my bbm is not working on my 8900 cruve and im not sure wat the problem is. ive had the phone for 2 weeks and its still not workin. i dont get people's request and pple to dont receive mine. and when i hit menu on the bbm nothing about start a conversation comes up or anything about invites

i switched from the LG Vu to the curve. I need a seperate data plan before i can use the bbm feature?

yes. you need the BLACKBERRY data plan for data features to work on a BLACKBERRY

att blackberry and regular data plans are like 10$ a month difference but it allows you to use BBM pin contacts and register your blackberry with the provider.
