I have alot of devices that are active on my BES from 2 different carriers that when you try to browse they just time out and give the generic error message. Mail, calenders, etc are all fine. If you try to use an app (gmail, facebook,google search,etc) they are work fine. it's just the browsers (opera too)

Now if I take a new att device that is not active on bes it browses fine.

So this seems to be a BES thing. Any ideas?

Do you have an IT policies in place? IT policies (depending on the settings) can prevent browsing.

Yes, we use IT policies but one of these devices have a policy that would prevent browsing.

Just for a gut check I restarted MDS and WALA...it's back working...the service was not stopped or had any errors in the event logs...weird!
