Default car radio for blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there..DO forgive me as Im not great with forums and so on..
I recently saw a section in a car mag for a selection of radios that can be retro-fitted to a car, which when connected with an I-pod will allow the menu interface form the ipod (albums, tracks, artists) to be selected from the screen on the radio..this would mean the mp3 player could be tucked away.

is a similar system available for Blackberry phones.....8900 to be exact?

Not that I am aware of. Those are for dedicated music devices.

The BB just isn't as ubiquitous as the iPod in this regard. I even use an iPod in the car. It's much more convenient to leave it there than to connect and disconnect my BB each time (not to mention storage capacity is significantly better on an iPod classic).

I think new Fords with SYNC will do this.

You can hook up an Aux input into your car stereo and attach your BB via the headphones jack, but you'll have to use the BB to control it.

Maybe "The Jupiter Jack", as advertised by the late, great, Billy Mays.
