Default 7130e Bluetooth Headsets

Has anyone tried the Plantronics Explorer 320 BT headset with the 7130e yet? I'd like some feedback before I purchase one.

If you have experience with other headsets, your feedback is welcomed.

I have Jabra BT350v and it does not impress me at all. Low volume and is hit or miss in connecting with my 7130 BB. In fairness to Jabra, perhaps I have somethng else going on and the headset is fine?

I'm not impressed with the volume either. In the car it's worthless. How are the Motorola's?

Default Moto HS 850

I have been using the Motorola HS850 that I was using with E815 and works great, volume is sometimes almost too loud. The only quirk is that you have to ue the volume on the headset to turn up the volume and not the phone volume itself. Should have no problems...

I use Plantronics BT320 with my BB7100t. I have also used it with my sony t610. Works flawless on both.

I am new to Bluetooth but my new Plantronics Voyager 510 paired up with my new Verizon 7130e is awesome. Very comfortable headset, and I hate headsets in general. Volume and clarity is excellent so far. Speakerphone also is quite nice.

Default Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth headset

I have used different headsets but his one is probably the best one. It comes with a nice case and tubes are cool.

I've experienced some crackling with the HS850 and the Verizon rep said it was hard to hear me last I used it in the car. I have the Sony HBH 662 I use to use with Treo 650 and PPC-6700. Will pair it next and report back.

i have the h500 and its amazing. Crystal clear, always picks up all calls. Wouldn't go with java or plantronics. Hear bad things. The hs850 has older technology then the h500.

Have a jabra blue ear slug and a Bluespoon AX. The Jabra has better incoming sound than the bluespoon, that said its ugly and big. Both suffer the same outgoing sound issue. The jabra rubs against my scruffy face and transmits noise, the bluespoon pics up noise when the windows are down or the air is on in the car i.e. wind. I have found that the bluespoon is good enough and is slightly more inconspicuous...that said be prepared to get strange looks when talking on any bt headset in public.

bwaaaahahahahahaaha
SUPER FUNNY!
I was just complaining that the 850 is not NEARLY loud enough, I turn the volume up all the way on the phone and its just not loud enough. You mean that there is a volume on the HEADSET?!?!?! HMMMM, should have read the manual....
THANKS!

I have the Motorola 810 and it works great on the 7130e. Have had no pair problems and have used it for the past two weeks. Much better that my old pocket pc phone which always lost its pairing.

Ok, I turned the volume up on my 850 paired to my 7130e, turns out that the volume was already all the way up. :( Its just to quiet.

I have the Jabra BT500 and it works well for me. It is extremely comfortable once you select the correct earpiece. I have used it up to 20 feet away through walls and had a very small amount of static. One feature I really like about this headset is the capability to redial the last number called.
When I drop, which is now rare, or when the other person drops, I just press the button, hear 2 beeps, let go and the number is redialed. Haven't had any complaints from others about being able to hear me. My car happens to be really quiet on the road (new 06 Acura TL), but I usually use the bluetooth features of the car. Signal strength, battery meter, and caller id work. I took a risk and it paid off. Only problem I have is intermittent crashes when pairing to BT500 and HFL. Talked to Verizon, and they said RIM will probably release new software to fix the problem but didn't say when. Checked the latest software release and that is what the 7130e is running. Hope they fix it soon.

I use a Plantronics 510 in the car and a Tekkeon in the office. Both work great. For those with volume issues, have you tried turning up the volume with the phone? Both of my headsets react to spinning the trackwheel to increase the volume.
