HI All-

After downloading the Drive Safely application and trying to run it I receive the following error:

"blackberry error starting drive safely: Module 'Drive Safely' attempt to access a secure API"

I assume, you have a Blackberry Data Plan, have tried a battery pull, a wipe/reinstall, and if that hasn't worked updating your OS.

If not, try those in order, any other questions i'll gladly answer.

My bb is brand new. Only have had it about a week. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in and that did not work.

How do I go about doing the other two? And if you do a wipe/reinstall, will I lose all my information, like phone numbers & pics?

No no, wipe/reinstall of the application. Try removing it from the device and reinstalling it, and see if that fixes it.
