I upgraded to this a week ago and have not had any major issues, very solid and nice interface tweaks. UI looks to be very touch-friendly, with all drop-downs converted to large buttons that would be an easy thumb target, even on something the size of the 8900's screen. My personal belief is that 5.0 is setting RIM up to expand touchscreen use across more of their line, so here's holding out hope for Dakota in 2010 =)

There's already an official release on the 5 series. Look at the Sticky topic on this 8900 section. The best thing is that YM and BB Messenger work without a BB data plan. ;)
