Default Is 8530 Worth it?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys!!!
I been wanting my first blackberry for some time now and is with verizon.
I mainly use my phone for texting and calling. I have an itouch which I use for email and internet as well as youtube, IM, facebook, google maps, etc. However, I don't have my itouch with me all times because, I don't like bringing two things at the same time when I go out.
I would like to know is how is the call quality on the curve 8530 under verizon. I live in queens, NYC. Can you hear the person on the other line clear and smooth? Will the other person hear me just fine and loud? Also I'm not very picky on the camera as I use it rarely. My contract is up next week so I have to think fast.
Finally, I'm not a business person. I'm just a normal 24 year old without a blackberry making me jealous because all my cousins have one lol

Sounds to me like the BB is not the device for you.

It is really hard for anyone to really say how good the connections and quality will be for you. That is something you have to decide for yourself. My advice is to go to the store and get one and try it for a week or so and see how you like it. Remember, you will have to get a BB data plan as Verizon will not sell it without BB data.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

I love the wifi on the phone and don't have issues with sound. Its actually my wife's phone. Again, as just mentioned above, try it out and mote you will need to buy a data plan as stated.
