I downloaded a facebook app onto my Blackberry Bold and noticed that it started making my entire phone work a lot slower. So I went into options and applications and deleted the facebook application. It then told me that to fully delete it the phone must reseted. I reset it and when my phone turned on every single last one of my contacts had been deleted. Everything else is there applications, bbm including contacts, videos, pictures, etc. Im feeling quite desperate at the moment and am really looking for some help here.

that probably won't help you now - but download google sync, and eliminate the threat if losing any contact for the next time..
