Default Error message-Sim Card is Full

Please Login to Remove!

I recently started receiving the following message: ( sim card is full- please delete some sms text messages). I have a 8 gig card with over 7.2 gig free. I've deleted the messages as requested, then upgraded to verison 4.6.1.231.
I have the sms setting set to store all sms messaged on the sim card. The error message only stops when I set it to not store messages on the sim card. I'm with T-Mobile. Does anyone have any thoughts on this.
Thanks, Blake

Your SIM card is different from your SD CARD card. Your SIM card is what you get from your carrier and which has the information (including your phone number) to connect to your carrier.

The SIM does not have much memory as it is not expected to store a lot of data (old thinking back in the day). So because your storing your SMS on the SIM, then you're getting that message. It will only stop when you delete some of the SMS from off the SIM. No other way around that message.
