Exclamation I need help installing OS 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

ok specs:
8900 tmobile
current os 4.6.1.231 (platform .108)
i have data plan

problem is when i try to upgrade my OS using loader.exe or Desktop Manager it doesnt seem to recognize my 5.0 os i installed it and deleted the vendor file like it said but nothing comes up and when i try to manually go to it its not there (because its not an alx. or ali. file)so i choose show all and then its there so i double click on it and it tries to load it but then comes back with the error this application is not compatible with your device and cannot be reloaded. anybody have ideas on what i can do to get everything right ive upgraded my and some friends OS's before this way but this is the first time ive had this problem

any help is much appreciated

thanks

What's the exact filename of the file you download?

And, have you double-clicked on that file to install it to your PC?

sounds like you got a bad downlaod / install.

uninstall, use ccleaner or some other tool to clean up files / registry , then reboot and reinstall.

also, make sure you dont have *any other* software packages installed (i sync both my 8320 and my 8900 to this computer, but i uninstalled the 8320 software before i upgraded my 8900.)
