I am a Canadian with an unlocked Bell 9700. I'm going to Rome for a business trip, and judging by Bell's roaming charges ($1.99CAD/min voice and $0.05/kb data) I'll be getting a SIM when there. Questions: which provider should I got for? Is there such a thing as pay as you go data or am I stuck /w wifi? Will I get 3G coverage or will I be limited to 2G bc of the NA vs Europe 3G banding?

I know that WIND italy, uses the same freq as t-mobile US for 3G.
But other providers are likely the same frequency as Bell.
