Default Emails keep getting moved to outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8900, on which I've set up several emails via BIS, including one which is on an exchange server (school email). These emails are also set up on my outlook on my pc, and they all go to both my BB and my outlook. However, emails that come to my school email eventually disappear from my BB and can only be found in my outlook on the computer (this doesn't happen to emails sent to any of my other accounts which are also set up on both BB and outlook). Is there a setting somewhere to let them stay on the BB? I'm not sure if it's always been like that or if it just started being that way after some software upgrade or somesuch. Any advice would be appreciated.

Judging by the question I think its safe to assume that your school account is setup as a POP account, you have a couple choices; you can either log onto you BIS and change the account to be setup as IMAP, or you can go into your mail client on your computer and change it to "leave a copy of messages on server".

I checked my BIS settings, and the email is set up as IMAP. I prefer not to set things to leave copies on the server. Is there another way of doing it? I know it wasn't doing this in the past. If only I can figure out what changed that...
