For the past couple weeks I've noticed that google maps can't ever find my gps location. It says "finding" in the top right corner and never updates itself. I use google mpas for directions and the "my location" has done wonders when I'm in an area I'm not too familiar with. Howver, how that the gps location doesn't update, I find this to be really annoying. I'm running the latest version and I'm wondering if anyone has this problem. Thanks!

What did you do just before it stopped working correctly? Google Maps should locate you within 2500 meters using cell tower data while GPS locks on.

Do you have a BB data plan?

Have you tried a battery pull and resent service books?

Are you outside with a clear view of the sky?

Do you have location services "on"?

What berry are you using? Some of the older ones didn't have gps chips in them

Profile says 8900 which has A-GPS

Make sure all the application permissions for Google maps is set to Allow. You BB might be denying the app from using your GPS location.
