Contacts via Bluetooth not appearing

I have a user who has a BMW and it has the built in Bluetooth with a nice screen and you can see all your contacts on the screen. Works very nice unless you have contacts with the same number. Say your wife's contact information has her cell phone, the house number and say her work number. Then you have a son who lives at home with you and you have his cell number and again have the home number. If you go to your wife's contacts using the on screen display of the BMW it will only show her work and mobile number, not the home number.
To take it a step further say you have your wife's work name as a contact and you enter in the work number for the work contact, now for the wife all you see is her mobile number.
What I am saying is there a way to get all the contact numbers to show regardless if I have the same number for multiple contacts? Has anyone else seen this?
