I just got a 9700 this morning...I assign custom ring tones to several of the people who call me often, but i have found that when assigning a custom ringtone for when they call me, the BB automatically also assigns them a (different) custom tone for when they message me as well...

this does not work for me because A.) all the messages sent by these people (email, sms, etc.) are all the same tone
and B.) i don't want them to have custom tones for messages...just phone calls.

how do i assign them a custom ring tone, while leaving all of their other methods of communication (email, sms) to my phone to the default sound???
