I'm back.. been a while since i've posted on here. Glad to see BBF is going strong.
So, I have a 9000, it's been upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 to various builds of 5.0......
I've never had a problem. I also do this ALL the time for work purposes.... but now?
I tried to upgrade to the latest 5.0 build. After rebooting and loading the JVM, I got the fantastic "Reload Software, 507".
Ok great. Now I have to do this again. Well, no matter how many times I try, even after downgrading to an officially released 4.6 build, it can't get the JVM up.
I've wiped using javaloader. I've -resettofactory. I've tried four different OS builds that are carrier agnostic, or from my carrier. Yes, all builds are for the Blackberry 9000. I've never encountered this problem before..
Has anyone else? It successfully uploads RAM images, erases software, re-loads the OS, just never gets to the point of actually uploading the modules. This is where the 507 screen pops in to rear it's ugly head.
In summary: i've reloaded the OS about 10 times using various different methods. It can't bring the OS up no matter what I have tried.
I've used the DTM and the loader.exe (even using /nojvm, blindly in an act of desperation). I tried a coulple 5.0 builds, as well as officially released 4.6. I've tried permutations of the above.
I also tried on two different computers...
I wish there was a way to try using a xD card... and no, there is no memory card in the unit. Not even a sim.
At a loss, your experience and tips are appreciated from someone who has also encoutered this problem.
