I have got myself on Orange UK, BIS has been turned on. (email is being received & sent) with no problems).

I have a Netgear ADSL Router (DG834GT) Firmware Version: V1.02.16
using WEP 64 bit security on TalkTalk Broadband.

I have connected my phone to the Router the but it is only showing the yellow connection status. The key is correct. Any ideas how to get it going?

You may need to type the phone MAC address in to the router configuration menu.

On my wireless router, I would type in the IP address 192.168.2.1, (or something to that effect), in my web browser, and that would send me to the configuration menu.

Additionally, the MAC address may be in there already, but check to see if perhaps the settings may have been configured to lock out that particular MAC address. You can reconfigure the setting to enable the MAC as well.

You might check your phone settings to see if UMA is enabled. I don't remember if this is necessary, but itsworth a try.
