Hi,

ive got a 9700, Its saying i have 24 new emails but I dont have any unread ones, then when i take the battery out and put it back in it takes away the red star by the email icon on the home page but its still there...

Ive put the phone on the computer and deleted it back to standard, then i re-uploaded my phone data and the message icon is still there.

I've deleted my email accounts and tried to go through the set up wizard but this makes no difference....

Make sure that it isn't a BBM or other IM message waiting or a missed call.

What theme are you running? Could be a problem with that.

Have you looked in any other email folders to make sure nothing is hiding there?

No its definalty an email icon showing and ive gone through every folder and sub folder searching.

It first happened when I took the sim out and put a dif sim in (my brothers) and i had recieved a few emails while my sim was out so i think I put it out of sync, since then after i deleted my email accounts im still getting loads of emails...
