Default Windows Live Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All, I am a newbie to this forum. Please excuse me if this question has already been asked and answered elsewhere. I did use the search facility and could not find a reference to this...

I recently downloaded Windows Live from Blackberry World Applications site. The interface does not seem to allow me to either view the profile of existing contacts or send offline messages to them. Am I missing some thing here? Are these pieces of fuinctionality not available in the (blackberry) version of the Windows Live software?

Many thanks in advance....

They are not available on any mobile version of WLM. As it doesn't work on my win-mo HD2 either.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It seems that there are many mixed messages about this (via the internet). I seem to have the impression that it's possible to start a conversation with a contact, but the menu options are simply not visible on my handset. Those options (for example) to send an email, SMS, MMS are available, but not the "conversation" ones....

Yes, you cannot start a conversation while appearing offline.

Hi, once again, many thanks for the reply. I have just read the instructions for the use of WLM and it is implicit in the guide that conversations can only be invoked once contacts become "online". I look forward to trying this out.

Cheers.....
